Smurf Turf

Just wondering what, if any, effect that the blue surface has on opposing teams. I was watching a Boise game last year and the announcers were commenting about how the blue uniforms blended in with the turf. I am in no way making excuses for our poor performance. We were dominated in every aspect of the game. But with Boise having the longest home winning streak in the country, it makes me wonder if this gives them more than the standard home field advantage. I say we paint the grass Falcon Orange for at least the UT game. Multiple coats of paint. We need every advantage we can get. UT would have to trash their white jerseys because they'd never be able to get all the orange out of them.
