Its Official.........
All opposing DC's know exactly how to beat us. They have now offically have figured out or offense. For the longest time we feasted on the fact the no one could figure out how to defend our 4 and 5 wideouts and such, but now the book has been opened. The problems are increasingly become the playcalling isntead of of play imagination. Hearing Coach Brandon on the radio saying we had no answer and we all got outcoached was just the most disheartning thing I've ever heard from our coach. He still has no clue it appears. Its gonna be too late real soon, if he doens't get help quick. I vote for DD to be our new HC if Brandon leaves. We could really use his bad a** way of coaching on the football where its really warranted.

Not to be overly-critical, but how many DC's have you personally spoken with to know that they have all "figured out" how to defend our spread?falconboy wrote:All opposing DC's know exactly how to beat us. I know, I just thought this to be a particularly grandiose statement and couldn't resist. I think I may only read the "Free for All" forum for the next week and continue my question for the "Suck it Chicago!" thread's domination of the free world.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:might as well just ignore it B.O. There's going to be a deluge of defeatist "I told you so's" coming from that direction.

If anyone were to figure us out it would have been Wisconsin and they obviously did not (42 points later) It was a bad game by Omar...period. We just aren't used to that. Ask North Carolina if they would have liked to have scored 20 points against Wisconsin or ask Iowa if they would have liked to have scored 20 points in their bad game against Iowa State. Both NC and Iowa only scored 3 points each in those games. At least in our bad game we put up 3 touchdowns.
