If you're in Columbus and have some free time, come see the FMB perform at the Grove City HS band competition on Saturday evening. It's a high school contest, so we're the "feature" band. Starts at 4, we perform at 8:15. Not sure how much admission is-- sorry-- but it can't be much.

You're not the only one. I assure you that the members of the FMB don't know either. I never understood it during my 4 years.

Sorry if such actions offend. Pretty sure two trips were planned for before homecoming this year in an attempt to break up the six-week stretch of nothingness for the band, and only one of the games was feasible-- and only one was a MAC game anyway. Any other away games this year come at rather hectic times.
Again.... don't mean to bring up any latent frustrations..... just announcing an event.

Flicc,
You know where I'm coming from. I know why the FMB plays at festivals and what not. Personally I would like to see the band go to 2-3 away games a year. If we (ok you) want to do march at a festival, perhaps do like what we did in '03 at OSU (I'll be up at homecoming, you can kill be then for that idea). Anyways, I'm glad to see the band out performing, and can't wait to see you guys on the 1st. Sorry I can't make it to Grove City though.
