I think a similar article was posted a day or two ago, though it looks different. Where in this article are you seeing confirmation of Douchemonkey's presence in Bowling Green next weekend? I don't see it anywhere in the article (and I see no mention of him being an assistant coach), but I am hoping beyond hope that he is there in some capactiy.

If it is true I want to see pictures, I want to hear about signs, maybe we can get PETA there to throw paint on him or something (I'm sure PETA can find something to be pissed at him about!). OMG, I wish I wasn't in Arizona. Way too friggin' pumped for BG to have a chance to give it back to Douchemonkey as hard as he's given it to mid-majors throughout his "career."

Wonder how Bobcat fans feel about this?

Wow. I guess I have found my answer. Wow.

You can really tell that OU has been a non-factor in college football for a long, looooooong time based on the comments in this thread. How can fans of a mid-major school rationalize away even HALF of the biased, uniformed bullsh*t that Douchemonkey has spewed over the years? :?:

I think the funnier theme in this thread is actually that Douchemonkey will somehow benefit the team in next Saturdays game! For sh*ting out loud, they are saying that it is beneficial having a "top 4 round draft pick" around practices!!!!!! HAAAAA!

It is amazing the delusions that have been created in Athens since the hiring of Solich.

One benefit, though, I think I may have found a new addition to my signature...

HAHA!

Trev Alberts is not a great football mind, at all! I can't believe OU thinks this will help out the program. Wow, I can't wait to see his stupid ass on the 8th. I'm gonna start yelling at his dumb ass as soon the bobcat bus pulls into the Doyt. We better crush Ohio next week!(after we take care of the owls of course) Screw that douchemonkey!

Trev Albert is immaterial. From Solich's standpoint, building Ohio's program is the challenge. "Littleredbobcat" from the bobcat boards is close to the mark when he says "Expect Solich to use every resource he has to get his program winning". To this extent, Solich is grabbing publicity, and if it gets Ohio rolling, then Solich has done his job.

Anyone want to refresh my memory. What is the grievance with Trev Alberts?

Direct quotes would be appreciated.

Adding Trev Alberts to that staff wont help them defeat us, trev alberts was a good player in college, but was never was a good broadcaster or student of the game.

Look at it this way, it will give you something to make fun off late in the game when all the other jokes have been used up.

Trev Alberts

I think it was a good jester by Solich to support his former player. Alberts is an idiot for getting fired at the greatest job in the world. He got paid to discuss football on tv. He isn't a coach and is just hanging out with Ohio learning just like Solich did after he left Nebraska. Solich visted different teams learning different types of offenses that weren't used at Nebraska. Ohio is a hybrid of those different offenses. We call it "the run and Oh-sh_t don't throw another interception offense.

I don't know if direct quotes would do Douchemonkey justice. If there is a way (and I am far too lazy to look right now), go back and look for transcripts of Douchemonkey's telecasts. He was notorious for only being informed about the contemporary top ten teams, speaking in generalizations about the rest of the BCS world, and being openly hostile to any team that wasn't in a BCS conference (Boise fans will readily concur with this assessment). He was a jackass and did more to perpetuate the BCS than anyone has since its inception. F*ck that guy.

And to add, since I'm just a little drunk, the guy doesn't really care for you unless you can contend for a BCS bowl. It's really interesting to see how someone who has been so adament about the BCS is relieved to such duties as "unofficially" coaching a non-BCS school.

Seriously, it's OU. Who couldn't be a coach?

(Let the smack talk commence)
