I really don't think the Bobcats will be much for the Falcons to handle. Omar is going to pick our secondary apart. We've got good LB's, but I've seen no evidence (Actually the contrary) that we can handle a pass-heavy team. Kent's Machen and Brown picked us apart 2 weeks ago and Basanez from Northwestern did the same. Forget about Marcus Vick. Omar is the best QB we've seen this year. Should be about 45-14 or something like that. It hurts to post to predict a Cat loss, but let's be realistic. Next year, I'm not going to be as generous, as we are young and getting better each week. I just can't see us hanging with BG at the Doyt. I'll be there rooting on the Cats, but my expectations are fairly low.

Thanks for coming by -- right now I see about the same outcome as you. This is a different team at home and I think we're about to hit our stride and run towards the MACC. I would not wager against us being undefeated in the MAC when we roll into Yager.

I am extremely excited about watching Bynum vs Jacobs and Sharon/Sanders. That should be a good matchup. Let's hope for an injury free game and a near sellout crowd again.

Your right, omar should have a fine day versus the ohio secondary, but my falcons need to establish the run. We need our pj pope and running game to get going to make it easier for omar. As for our Defense, I think that it will show up at the Doyt. it should be a good game and go falcons

Thanks for stopping by and for the kind words. Unlike my two feathered friends, I'm not willing to claim victory just yet. Solich will have Ohio ready to roll. If you can run - and the statistics say you can - you have a good chance to move the ball and eat up the clock.

That being said ...

The Streak > Solich

Always glad to see other schools on AZZ... in my opinion I think the game will be close in the beginning but the Falcons will take off and tear up Ohio...

I can't see the secondary for OU being all that much different than it was last year. They were greatly outmatched in that game. Jacobs had his choice of wide open reveivers all game. He missed a couple of deep balls or it could have been worse. We will roll at home.

Ohio is growing and I hate to say it but if ohio is on thier game and up...which there is little doubt they will be, they could knock us off, thhier team is full of potential and for us to win we must put them down big early.

So how do you all like your new
asst coach?

This is coming from an OU alum, so it's obviously biased, but here is what I see. The key to this game is ball control and the elimination of turnovers. You guys have a great O, but our D is playing well and creating turnovers, it will be an interesting matchup and I look forward to seeing it unfold. Our O, namely our running game is starting to hit on all cylinders, and that could be a big problem for BG. If we can have more sustained drives, 80 yards, 10 minutes that result in points, this could be a very close game. Good luck to you guys, looking forward to an exciting, injury free game.

on a side note, great fan page!

good luck yall

I think you are right, pretty much.

I would be surprised if Omar was picked more than once -- and no disrespect to Dion Byrum. He rarely makes dumb throws.

I don't think Ohio will need turnovers to make this uncomfortable for us.

Not that I've heard.

As far as I know, Toledo is the only visiting team bringing their band this year.

Pottereed, it is true that the OU band is, by reputation, loud and enthusiastic.
