Go Huskies!!!

Post by bc ziggy 58 »

Huge game tonight w/ MAC East ramifications. Subject header says it all. Huskie win tonight puts us up 2 on who I see as our biggest rival. (After we thouroughly dispose of OU this Saturday, that is  )
Converting Fort Wayne one fan at a time!!

Miami/NIU

Post by rocketfootball »

Rocket fans are in a similar situation. If Miami beats NIU then we go up 2 games on the puppies in the West Division. Of course EMU is undefeated, until we beat them Saturday, and CMU has just one loss right now.

If Miami beats NIU tonight, I think CMU becomes the main threat to Toledo. In fact, I think CMU is going to beat NIU later in the season and I project the MAC West to finish like this:

1. Toledo
2. CMU
3. NIU
4. EMU
5. WMU
6. Ball State

In the East, even if Miami beats NIU tonight I just can't see anyone stopping you guys. Your offense is very good and you got your bad game out of the way already.

I never thought I'd see the day a Rocket fan would say of his own free will that we would beat them

You did know I was talking about in the East Division, right? You get stopped on November 22nd and then again on December 1st.

That was a given, of course.

Until then, we'll take 'em one game at a time.

Rf may be a Rocket fan but he's fair and knowledgeable about the MAC.

Since you were so kind I guess I will have to give my fair assessment. I continue to stick with the prediction I made before the season started:

BG wins at the Doyt on November 22nd and Toledo wins at Ford Field on December 1st.

I could see it. Home field has been such a huge decider in our series recently that I'm fairly confident we will win at the Doyt. Facing an angry rockette team in Detroit could be a different story altogether....
