Some of the posts on their board just made me laugh. I guess we have one thing in common with some of the Red Hawks. When things go wrong on the field one night we get pretty pissy too! :D Being calm tonight though helped me realize just how ridiculous some of them were being. It was pretty humorous, however, I will learn from this and try not to provide entertainment for the rest of the MAC when BG has a bad night! Sometimes our emotions make us all slightly irrational!

Miami played a good game, they got beaten by a team that made fewer mistakes but they played a good game.

i think howerver that this is the year NIU Beats Toledo...they may not make the Mac Championship game..but they beat Toledo, and earn another Bowl trip. NIU is solid right now, and very ballanced, thier D is improving as well..if we have to play them...we will have our hands full.

If they win out in the MAC, they go to MACC game. They must beat UT to make it.

After a huge loss, rational thought is usually the second loss. See this board not more than two weeks ago.

I wouldn't put too much weight into that thread (other than the "Michigan Scores" section - what a riot!) Most Mi-Audi fans I know realize that their best situation right now is a better MAC.

Frankly, there's more voices of reason there than we saw on our site. I wouldn't give up if I was Miami. If we beat OU and Miami beats OU, than OU gets two losses. With our road record, they certainly have a fair shot at beating us at Oxford, which leaves us playing the Rockets needing to win to win the East, and unless our run D picks up, that's going to be a tough one even on our field. If Miami can get their act together, they could easily win the East.

doesnt matter..most of you you were writing our team off after we got kiled by boise...doesnt matter if it was confernce or non conference..i was constantly telling people on here we were still 1-0 in the MAC..all i got for response was "so what" or "the defense sucks we wont survuve the MAC" blah blah blah..

I wasn't one who thought the season was over and I think the majority of folks here knew we were still good at 1-0 MAC.

It was the way we got thrashed by Boise State that caused the uproar...I was as guilty as anyone about that. BG just wasn't ready that night but thank goodness it is in the past!

We will defeat Ohio U this weekend and be in a great position for the rest of the schedule!

I agree...on all points. IF NIU can beat UT at the GB, they win the West...providing they win the rest of their games. After the loss at Akron, nothing is certain for NIU.

If NIU has to play BG for the MACC, they'll have their hands full as well.

I know you werent that bad.. Some people on here though wanted to hang the cleats up for the rest of the season..the Season that was 3 games old. it was rediculous to read some of what people were saying on here..i get crap for OSU but i NEVER had bashed this BG football team. not like that.

I have made comments about the defense but I have never said we couldnt fix it and that the aseason was over.
