Wasn't sure if this has been brought up on here or not, but Ohio State has added BGSU on the schedule for the 12th game in 2006.

Game is set for Oct 7th.

I will definitely try to be there. Will the school sell tickets??? Because I have a lot of friends at Ohio State and I would love to go...

This game has been rumored for awhile. Not sure I like playing OSU in October. Coming after Whisky and Boise, we could be pretty dinged up heading onto conference play

...or we could begin our conference play with great confidence after beating wisky, boise, and o state

Aww, shucks.

I hope you feel better, teke (if you have the kind of respiratory infection I just got over, you DEFINATELY have my sympathy).

For some reason this game seems really late in the year to me. I know that this is due to the new 12 game schedule change, but it still seems odd, and I'm sure it will feel odd, too.

Next year has to be the most impressive and brutal OOC schedule in BG's history. I will be satisfied with 1 victory and another close game out of those 3. OSU is always going to be a tough game in the shoe and I expect Wisconsin to be a top big 11 team next year. Throw in BSU(2) and you have a murderous schedule to try and get through healthy.

It's an exciting time to be a Falcon :D

You must have forgotten about Florida Intl. We better win that one as well.

and the glass half full view... Ohio State plays at Iowa the week before and could be dinged up a bit as well. And it is in the middle of their Big Ten slate, so it could be easy to overlook us.

The OCC is definitely a challenge, but at least the team won't be making long tiring road trips as they did this year.

We'll beat Boise State in 2006.

I didnt have a voice for two days

on another note. Thats a rough OOC schedule atleast 1 and a half of those are home. (wisky game is half - the Doyt is home not cleveland) will Calhoun be gone after this season?

Heck yea the shoot out rematch with WI in cleveland
Then Back to the doyt for Boise
then we travel to FL to play FL INT
then back up to OHio to drive down to OSU to play in the Shoe.......
Now if we play like this year against WI, and have a better D with the kinks worked out...lets say we win that one... impresive...but early and WI people will say is not up to speed yet...then lets say we manage a victory over Boise at the Doyt and show the Broncos what real noise is....that is more impressive,,,and serves to energize our guys....then to FL int...a confidence booster...now OSU will have played
Sat 09/02/2006 Northern Illinois Columbus, Ohio TBA
Sat 09/09/2006 Texas Austin, Texas TBA
Sat 09/16/2006 Cincinnati Columbus, Ohio TBA
Sat 09/23/2006 Penn State Columbus, Ohio TBA
Sat 09/30/2006 Iowa Iowa City, Iowa TBA
Sat 10/07/2006 Bowling Green Columbus, Ohio TBA

should we manage to Beat OSU in Columbus after having played those teams...We will be recognized....
I like playing OSU late...after the kinks have been worked out, and several games are under oour belts.
and if we beat them...we may just get joted down for the 07 12th game...or at least 08 where all OCC games are open.'

ah but for now we have Ohio...and I am excited about that game.
