What we need to do to Ohio

We need to do more than just defeat Ohio. We need to smash them into submission.
The reason is the comparative schedules for East Division members. Of all the likely contenders, BG has the most favorable schedule, but Ohio is close. After the BG game, they have only one away game that looks tough--Akron. Their toughest games are both at home--Toledo and Miami. A loss to BG won't kill them, especially a close loss.
So, we need to do all we can to demolish their confidence.

Good point Salsa.....that would certainly send a message. But after worrying about this game for a few weeks, I'll take a win now matter how big or small. I hope we get one.

ditto. I see the point about "destroying their confidence", but a good coach (and team) will realize that a 100 point loss counts the same in the standings as a 1 point loss. Get the win and move on to Buffalo, please.

Good points.
Probably better to say ...
We need to defeat Ohio by 1 or 100 points. It would be nice to thoroughly thrash the Snobcats to send a message to the rest of the MAC.

But Salsa brings up a thought...
If we pound them big time, it can send a message for future seasons that BGSU isn't going away. Let Solich and Co. know they're gonna have the Falcons to contend with every year.

lol...never heard that one b4. I dunno about pounding us into submission...I hope not...been there, done that, ready to turn the page! I hope for a good game where both teams show they are the class of the MAC this year. (fingers crossed)
