14. QB Omar Jacobs, Bowling Green — Jacobs is off the radar today, but as others fade and fall out of contention against tougher competition, he’ll be steadily churning out four and five-touchdown days and inching toward the Top 10. By late November, voters, who won’t remember his troubles against Boise State, might be tuning in to the MAC title game to see if Jacobs can become just the third quarterback in NCAA history to throw 50 touchdown passes in one season.
Last Week: 26-of-30 for 326 yards and 4 TDs (Temple)
2005 Season: 101-of-160 for 1,432 yards, 17 TDs and 2 INTs
Barometer: Steady

Hell Yeah!
50 TD passes would be amazing and I'm sure Omar could do it! I'm hoping for 6 touchdowns tomorrow as he burns the OU secondary! Go Falcons!

I'm hoping Omar still has a chance, but, unlike players from "BCS schools," Omar might not be able to overcome one below average performance.edr4225 wrote:14.
