Congrats on the win last night and the good defensive effort. I know Ohio isn't a world-beater on offense, but that was a heck of an effort....especially against the run.

Ditto on the EMU win for Homecoming. This years match-up has the possibility to be an epic.
Hopefully, we just kick the s*** out of UT though.

Hey now, they still have to put up with NIU, CMU, and of course their favorite road game: Ball State, things could change..

I still think NIU might be the best team in the MAC.
Toledo, NIU, and BG are very close this year.

Thanks rf! Looks like BG and UT could be on a collision course.
Congrats on the win over EMU...holding them to 3 pts certainly was impressive!

Dare I say BG vs NIU for the MAC championship. That would be awesome especially since we will be looking to avenge our loss to them last season. But I do not want to get ahead of myself. FALCem Up!! Bring on buffalo!!

Pretty good at the rate we're going. I'm waiting to see if NIU can finally beat UT this year.
But first....UT has their enjoyable journey to Muncie, In this week...and BSU finally won a game scoring 60 points. So what if it was WMU and 5 OT's.
Look out UT! Here they come again.

If Toledo falls at Muncie, do we call this parity in the MAC a good thing? Other years, there was dominance by UT, BG, NIU, Miami. Now all of a sudden you have Central winning games on the road, Akron downing NIU, Ohio looking like a real team again. Yes, us real MAC fans think this is good. But for outsiders looking in, they will think that the good teams are slipping back instead of recognizing that the lower teams are stepping up.

It depends on the eye of the beholder. Outside view really depends on OOC games. If the top teams can regain their form in OOC and lower-level teams can win a few (i.e. Ohio over Pitt), I think the parity will help. I don't think it helps the view of our conference one bit to have 5 of the worst 10 teams in the country.
UT vs Ball State

I personally don't think BSU can beat Toledo this year, but we will have to see.
At any rate, this is the last year Toledo has to worry about playing at Ball State and possibly losing. After this season, BSU is removing the grass field and installing an artificial surface.....probably Field Turf. That was one of their main advantages. We all know that Toledo doesn't play well on grass surfaces, especially in rainy conditions.

BGSU will have the only grass field in the MAC next year. Interesting.
