Yeah, because the stats certainly don't indicate that we focused on the run today. I mean, how dare we?!?!falconboy wrote:Yikes!!!! :ugh: We gotta get that straightend out big time.

Well for us focusing on the run 140 yards isn't much. Its better than what we have stats wise in that area but its not a dominating performance at all.
Omar was so off toay it wasn't funny.

A win is a win. I'll take it. Our passing game has looked sluggish for a few weeks now. Look at it this way, every game the passing game struggles, the less likely it is that Omar leaves early for the NFL. Always looking for a silver lining.

thank you warthog. i agree. however i am very excited to see turner get his chance. i bet he is waiting to explode all over the MAC.Warthog wrote:A win is a win. I'll take it. Maybe it's just the optimist in me, but I beg to differ. This team is as good as their best game(s). I don't know what the answer is to the sluggish performances (though the words "road game" have something to do with it, for some inexplicable reason), but this team has proven that they can bring it on both sides of the ball. Before we all go writing off games down the road (and some of you in the chat room had already marked Miami(OH) off as a loss), let's take it one game at a time, come back next week and smack Western in the mouth next week![/b]orangeandbrown wrote:This team is a work in progress, and they're only ever going to be as good as their last game.

Well said, Jham... obviously Terrill Mayberry stepped up big (three picks on the year for him now?), but Mike Thaler sounded like he had another huge game on the line.

That's more or less what I was trying to say. We have yet to "bring it" against quality opposition on either side of the ball this year, so every week is an adventure.TG1996 wrote:let's take it one game at a time, come back next week and smack Western in the mouth next week![/b]orangeandbrown wrote:This team is a work in progress, and they're only ever going to be as good as their last game.
Well in that case, I beg to agree.orangeandbrown wrote:That's more or less what I was trying to say. We have yet to "bring it" against quality opposition on either side of the ball this year, so every week is an adventure.

Yeah that's why I only spent 2 min. in the room. It was a sky is falling moment when I was in there. Does anyone remember that Miami has more losses in the MAC than BG?TG1996 wrote: Before we all go writing off games down the road (and some of you in the chat room had already marked Miami(OH) off as a loss)
