I dont know how many people visit this site daily, but help increase Omar a little bit in this poll. The more publicity Omar gets, the more publicity BG gets. So...VOTE!

It's very nice to see Omar on the short list. I think we all know the winner will be Vince or Reggie and maybe Matt, but if O can just make to the Heisman ceremony, that would be huge. If he puts on a show against Miami and Toledo, I believe he stands a shot of being there.

If Omar is to get invited, he'll need to eclipse his pass yards from last year, break the TD record, and not throw anymore picks.

I don't see these things happening though.

I think the Buffalo game ruined his chances of getting invited but that's just me. Either way, I don't really care if he wins this award anymore. Win the MAC, and comeback next year to win bigger and better things!

I don't think that this year should be about an individual honor. This year has to be about winning the MAC, and then next year if Omar comes back, which I now think that he will, focus maybe on the Heisman a little bit. But right now the focus is on the MACC, and getting this team better.

This year was never about individual accomplishments. Sure we all talked about Omar preseason, but team-wise, the goals has been the MACC. If individuals do good and get awards, that's just an added bonus.

I think it's impressive that he's still being considered. Omar hasn't been the Omar that we are used to. But if we keep winning I don't think his individual numbers will matter.

Guys like Quinn, Vick, Drew & Maroney I'm sure would now keep him from going to NY. But like someone said, he shouldn't worry about this award and just focus on winning games because no one is going to keep a USC player from winning it anyway.
