Weather for BG/WMU

Post by BGSU33 »

The extended forecast says a few showers with mild temps. Game day is five days away, so hopefully it will change later in the week and we get some more sunshine in the forecast.

NO! Omar seems to perform well in the rain if I remember the Memphis game correctly! Bring it on!

From WeatherUnderground: Saturday
Partly cloudy. Highs in the lower 60s.

From Accuweather: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain. Winds from the N at 15 mph. High: 62° F RealFeel®: 56° F

I think weather.com overuses the rain icon. When the % chance is only 30, I don't think we need to see the rain drops. :x

Correct...they had Buffalo showing for rain all day, every hour with a 30% chance. It was actually a beautiful day, just windy.

Another weather update, it looks like clouds are moving into BG for the next five days or so, and with them, they will be bringing some showers and cooler temps. It's now calling for 52/37 as high/low and 30-40 percent showers for Saturday. Hopefully the rain will hold off, but bring something to stay warm in, it could get cool out there. GO BG!!!

The weather forecast is looking much more like a good chance of rain and cool temps as Saturday approaches. :( To all who are coming, dress warm and to stay dry so we can fill the Doyt!

Weather

I assume the weather in BG will be similar to in Toledo. They are now calling for a 60% chance of rain Saturday afternoon, evening, and night. The high Saturday is expected to be 49 degrees. UT plays at 7pm and we are looking at rain and about 42 degrees at kickoff. Sounds like another bad attendance game for us with weather like that.

How I long for the days when weather won't mean anything when it comes to attendance. 50 and rain....could be a heck of a lot worse!

BTW, the max humidity will be 78%!!! YAY!

If the game is anything like today's weather, some people might be staying home. Here's to sunshine!

Well, I'll be there, but I had invited two guests to sample BG football, and they just cancelled out.

I'm with ya, Freak, but in the meantime, its always going to be an issue.

Just checked the radar at 10:40 and it looks pretty clear. Nice morning outside, sunny even.

I think we may avoid the wet stuff!!!!!

We may get a few drops...but nothing on the radar looks like it will stick around for a long time...at least not like the Kent State game in 2003 :D
