Your input need for an important decision
Your input need for an important decision
Noah & I have decided that Mrs. 87 needs her own Falcon jersey at Christmas. At last year's Temple game, she made do with Noah's orange flag football jersey and her Falcon wardrobe consists of a BGSU Mom t-shirt and a nice brown BG hoodie. But she needs Gameday attire. In the Smith family, that means a jersey!
We're pretty set on an orange home jersey, but we need your help on this important issue:
What number should we get? Here are a few thoughts ...
87: Reasons are obvious.
57: This would match the number on my old school jersey and, don't tell her I told you but, it's the year she was born.
5: That would match the number on Noah's BG jersey, as well as the number he selected for flag football this year; would also be the year she gets the jersey.
24: That's Noah's number from last year. She's also partial to Deaudre Perry, since he was so nice to her & Noah at last year's Temple game.
1: Because she's #1 in our book!
Other suggestions welcome. Please vote in the poll, though.

Whew, I thought I was going to have to let you know if you should buy concert tickets. A jersey number will be easy, just don't pay to much for it
How about the year you were married. That would be "romantic" in a way only a man would think was romantic (like my dad buying my mom a vaccum cleaner for christmas).

Good idea. For the record, that would be 93.PGY Tiercel wrote:Whew, I thought I was going to have to let you know if you should buy concert tickets. A jersey number will be easy, just don't pay to much for it![]()

Since it's going to be hers, I'd probably ask her what number she wanted. All the number choices you gave us are some way related to you or your son. While I understand why, that's kind of conceded. Again, ask her since it's something she has to wear. If she was born in 57, I'm sure she's old enough to make the decision herself.

Wow, now I'm conceited? Things are getting rough around here.Metz wrote:Since it's going to be hers, I'd probably ask her what number she wanted. Anyway, I have tried to figure out what number she'd like, but want the jersey to be a surprise, so I haven't come right out and asked. So far, no number has emerged as a leader, so to speak.
Gotta go with #1. Any women that is okay with you and Noah having as much fun with BG, and wants a jersey of her own, deserves nothing less than #1. Although, if she has the same influences on BG games as Noah does, I might say 5...meaning (2005), the year Mrs. 1987 sparks BG to it's first MAC title since 1992!
GO BG!!!
Nah...I've just learned to let the ladies decide so they can't complain about it later. Then again they will complain you didn't give input in the decision so I guess it's a loss either way...transfer2BGSU wrote:Metz getting in touch with his feminine side?
Nope! It obviously got the correct meaning across so I think my spelling works finemichhiker28 wrote: Ahhhh Metz,
