NEXT YEARS SCHEDULE

Post by ChicagoFalcon »

If we can schedule one more game out of conference (A Big 10 team or ACC team) that will get us some more exposure, we'll be that much further than Toledo in recruiting.

Any thoughts would be cool....

We're playing Wisconsin and ohio state next year. And Boise St. Pretty good non-conference schedule if you ask me

After watching today's game, it is absolutely scary to look at that OOC. God, we couldn't stop AKRON.

Exactly my thoughts too. Hell, I'm worried about trying to stop Kent State next week first....how are we gonna do that?

Remember in the Exorcist, when Regan told the astronaut "you're going to die up there" then peed on the floor? I imagine Regan would be saying something similar next August with this OOC schedule.

Sadly......she probably would. By the way, when I lived in Virginia, I used to go to Georgetown and saw the Exorcist House and Stairs a few times from the movie. Very creepy.

The strange thing is, I actually did pee on the floor when I found out we lost to Akron!

I was also wondering about next years OOC for Boise State. How many returning starters are you bringing back from this years team? Do you guys think that Omar (or anyone else) will leave early for the NFL?

BSU is still young and should return 18 starters on O and D, plus both the kicker and punter. That is if there are no injuries, transfers, arrests etc.

Good luck the rest of the year Falcons, all of us BSU fans still root for you guys every week. :D

"root for us"??? That's not good enough... PRAY for us!! And if you're not one to pray for outcomes of sporting events, at least say a few words to the guy upstairs about the remaining threads of sanity...

As for next year, who knows about Omar, but he does lose a long-time starter off the O-Line, two standout receivers and two stud RB's. We look to have a freshman at both WR and RB that will be fun to watch for three more years (and the three, four or five games that are left this year, of course!), and Marques Parks is another WR that could shine, but he's done for the year with a broken leg.

Defensively, a couple seniors go from the backfield, but we've got a freshman stepping up already back there. I'm too tired/lazy to look it up, but I think the front seven is pretty much juniors and seniors, and off the top of my head, I'd say it's an even mix.

The last thing our program needs is first to look at next year. Yet we also must hope for a turn in play to avoid huge embarasments on Nat tv, and OCC games. Its ok to loose close ones to OCC schools but we will be damed if we get blown out.
