That means they think we are the better team. The home team is always given a few points on teh spread due to the home advantage, at a neutral site, I think we would be the favorites in the minds of whomever made that spread. GO FALCONS! BEAT NIU!

Just as long as BG wins....it could be 2-0 on a safety for all I care.

Or 7-6 when their kicker misses the extra point since that seems to be the vogue thing in college football this year!

(Hey, I'm a fledgling now! :D )

No crap Warthog. As a Buckeye fan I have the pleasure of watching the best PK in the business, and as a BG fan Suisham is still pretty good, even if he was inconsistent last year. It just amazes me to watch all these college kickers miss extra points.

If I were a player I would get soooo pissed off after all that work to lose because the kicker blew what is supposed to be a gimme point.

LSU can kiss their NC hopes from a missed PAT!!!! And plus a little penalty on the missed Auburn PAT didnt hurt either

hammb,
I gotta agree...Nugent is, by far, one of the best college kickers I have ever seen. That guy better win the Lou Groza award by a landslide. Suisham is a very good kicker as well but Nuge has that "I never miss" mentality. He expects to make EVERY kick...no matter the distance or angle.

Keep in mind the kicker is responsible for kicking the ball. It's up to the long snapper to get the ball back and the holder to get it set up correctly.

In an evenly matched game, homefield usually counts about 3 points.

However, as to who they think is better, or if they are correct, is irrelevant to them. All they care about when setting a line is that half the money is bet on each team.
