After reading a few posts, I got to thinking about how people would feel about BG's season if the following happened: (sorry if this doesn't interest anybody but I'm bored and wanted to have a little fun)

1) Falcons win enough games to win MAC East

2) Falcons lay a huge whoopin on Toledo on ESPN2

3) At halftime of the afore mentioned game, the official ground breaking of the Sebo Center takes place

4) BGSU takes the MAC crown and a bowl championship

5) Omar Jacobs fealing a little unfulfilled by his injury shortened season decides to stick around and improve his draft potential

6) Brandon recruits a highly touted freshman class


Well I can't really think of anymore, but it does illustrate just how possible it is for this season to be considered a success come January. Granted any combination or none of thise possibilities may end up happening, but it's all still very possible and it gets me pumped up to think about it.

That's a great post. Indeed, that's what is great about life....the opportunity to change your fortunes for the better. Let's hope that's the story we tell later.
