I would just like to Congratulate Corey and his family. In my NCAA 2006 Dynasty he just went pro after winning his 3rd heisman in a row. No lie.

From the looks of today, he should be our emergency QB

That was a well executed play. Great blocking by the WRs out there to give Cory time to make the throw. I guess he is serious about taking over the Magner role for this team. :D

Didn't Sanders throw a pass to Sharon as well? I don't see his name listed as throwing a pass, but I swear that it was Steve. No offense to AT because he wasn't given much of a chance, but the two best passes from BG this afternoon were by the wide-outs. Both were right on the money.

he did. the pass was well defended, and bobbled, and sharon couldn't come up with the catch.

That pass was as accurate as I have ever seen from a play like that...

I actually thought Corey and Steve's passes were better looking than any of the passes Van and Anthony threw. Seriously. It's also another reason why I hope Omar can play next week and that he comes back next season. I like AT, but he has a long way to go IMO. But the thing I liked about Corey and Steve's passes where, it was just nice to also see us thrown the ball downfield for once. I just wish Turner did take a shot or two downfield or a play was called for him to at least take a shot once in awhile. It seems like Sharon and Sanders are rotting out there at WR when Turner is in at QB. I'll say this much, if our starting QB only throws for 77 yards against Miami, we'll get crushed.

My only thought about those two plays is - did we really want to let them out of the bag during this game? May have come in handy against our next two foes...but I guess it was better to use them against a weaker secondary. I'll just go debate with myself now, thanks.

Other than that they were exciting to watch.

Thanks to Germainfitch 1 for sharing. What a nice compliment to Corey! As his mom, I appreciate your confidence and support in Corey's athletic ability.

As many of you are aware, but unfortunately some of us forget, all of BG's football players are extremely dedicated and work very hard on and off the field. They are young and will make many mistakes, but that is how they learn.

Thank you to all the parents, fans, and friends who have provided encouragement to Corey while he has struggled with injuries.

I was so impressed with the number of fans that attended the KSU game. As a group, we can be a force to reckon with!!!! It was also great to have BG's own private 2-member band present! See you at Miami!

Welcome Mom! -- it's always nice to get the family perspective on the team. I know all of us are very excited about what Corey can contribute while he's here. Although I haven't met him, from all accounts he's a great guy also which is what we all want to see in our student-athletes.

The BG crowd was awesome yesterday. I realize that there were a lot of parents at the game, but there were also quite a few students and "regular Joe" fans like myself in attendance. Of course we were disappointed in the previous two games, but I don't think more than a couple people on here have given up on this team. I think we'll have a great crowd at Miami too. Hopefully we can turn that into a sort of home game as well, just like yesterday.

well worth repeating...

I have yet to see any player on this team or any team at any level not make mistakes.

It was a great pass! Seeing the smile on Corey's face was the best...after all the adversity he's faced. As with all the guys on the team.

When we win the East title, it will be so much more gratifying....

Welcome Kelly! Was very nice to meet you yesterday!
