Brandon's quote in Sunday's Plain Dealer about Miami game

Post by BGSU33 »

"I said all season long, if we're going to win a championship, we have to win at Miami." - Gregg Brandon after BG's win over Kent State.

....I think that about sums it up. I hope this is the year we can finally beat Miami.
GO BG!!!

Exactly. This game with Miami - with the fact of how important this game is in the MAC East race, being on the road, on national TV, against a good team, etc., - this is exactly the kind of stage we need to showcase what we are as a team and as a program. If we can win this game, it could be exactly the kind of huge shot in the arm we've needed in quite some time.

I think Miami will be hardpressed to beat BG. I think it more possible now, than if this had been the first game of the season.

But Miami won't beat both OU and BG. I have feeling Miami falls in Athens, and in Oxford. My feelings are rarely wrong. God, I hate myself.... and I need to bit the bullet now.

MiamiBando, you are like me. When I usually get a bad feeling about my team or a game, sadly, I am usually right. Like you, I also think my team, BG, will lose. So with that said, I guess I have to say this....I hope you are right then, because that would mean I was wrong and then BG beats Miami. Like I always say, I'll take a win any way I can get one. But like you, I also think Ohio will beat Miami in Athens. Again, just a feeling. Then again, I also have a feeling Ohio is going to come out of the MAC East - and that is something neither one of us wants.
GO BG!!!
