Just a note and a concern!
Corey had his catch streak broken yesterday. He has caught at least one pass in every game he has played until last Saturday. He didn't even have a ball thrown his way, but then again we didn't really throw that many passes. And if the streak had to end, I guess it was nice to end it by having your first pass completion.
Well, since this streak has ended its time to start another one. Let's see, he started his last catch streak with 8 catches for 160 yards and 1 TD. Yeah that's the ticket, lets start another streak by putting up the same numbers (or better) against Miami, yeah, I like that idea. Hope they start throwing to him again. Geez....He can't be a decoy if you never throw to him!
Ok, enough, time to get off my soap box.
A concern.
Seems to me that quite a few players this year have been having shoulder separation problems. Maybe, just maybe, there needs to be a look taken at our strength training program. It would appear that some muscle imbalance or weakness is affecting our shoulders. These players don't have a history of shoulder separation issues, so maybe we should review what we are doing in our shoulder training.
Had a blast at the game, loved the trumpets, thanks to all the FMB members that attended. Where would we be without our beloved band. Loved seeing so much orange. I swear we outnumbered the kent fans.
My son Austin represented BG at halftime in the passing contest. I still think they won. The person judging said their last pass was not more than 10 yards and disqualified them. I want a review!
Sorry, I was unable to get to the Freaks for the party, I feel bad about that as I had planned on going all week. The Freak is a great guy and a great BG fan.
