2006 season

Post by Godsgirlerific »

No, this is not a thread about how this season is a wash and we might as well start focusing on next year. :P This is simply for personal reference regarding future class scheduling.

Is the 2006 football schedule out yet, or does anyone know when it will be available? I want to know how many games will be on Tuesdays, and I figured that if anyone knows that info yet (or knows when the schedule will be available), then it would be someone on this site. :D

I think the MAC has listed who we will be playing next year, but not dates. ESPN will decide what games our conference is forced to play on stupid weeknights sometime early next summer. As far as I know, all non-conference games are scheduled for Saturdays.

Some dates are somewhat set. The Wisconsin game at Cleveland, at Ohio State, at FIU, and Boise all have dates set. However, it is still possible that the Boise game could be moved to a weeknight at a later date. The onther three will not be switched.

As for the MAC games, that schedule isn't set until late spring, early summer. You could easily say that the Miami and Toledo games are a good bet for weeknight matchups. But with all the parity in the MAC this year, almost all the games have a shot at making it on a weeknight for TV.

Has Krebs confirmed our date with OSU for next year, or was that announcement solely from the lads in Columbus

It's been confirmed. I saw it somewhere, but can only find it on the OSU site, and they're probably lying.

We have the Ohio State game listed in our weekly media guide as well.
