The weather report is calling for STRONG storms and thunder showers. I understand rain and wind- but what happens if we get sustained lightning? Delay after delay- play another day??? I know last year, our local high school had games delayed three weeks in a row- one was cancelled and replayed another day.
They have a rule that you wait 30 minutes after you see lightning and everytime you see more another 30 is added.
Thoughts appreciated
The only thing I've seen close to anything like that was the Browns preseason game when lightning delayed the game but they played it.
I'm sure they'll get some sort of idea what the chance of lightning is before the game and go with that, I think if there's no immediate threat then the game will be played.
i'm not excited about the weather, but i'm still going! I am going to stick with accuweather.com though. They have partly cloudy/showers for 6pm and 7pm and partly cloudy the rest of the night.. weather.com has 60% of rain the whole night... i guess we'll see who's right!

man that was a lot of rain, the Gulf of Mexico was falling on us.
Yeah, and then we found it all in frozen form when we got home! I seriously didn't think I was going to make it home on Christmas eve...

And into Millet Hall...... They are calling for strong winds tonight and t-storms all day. We might not go....... I have to think about Nicholas and school the next day...... a couple of delays and driving rain (we have no rain gear except some ponchos) could make for a long night.
This being a responsible parent blows If it was just me..... no sweat.

My wife has already said that she will not be attending. I want to be there if we clinch the MAC East tonight, but I'm certainly not willing to put myself in harms way if these storms are going to be as bad as they're saying.
i dont think it will storm so bad that they cant play. and i like it because i think we will be better off in the rain!
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!
