Potential Northern Weakness?

Post by Warthog »

I was looking over the game notes from NIU and saw they have two true freshman starting on the interior defensive line. One of them is even a walk-on! Seems like we should be able to exploit their inexperience and do some running up the middle behind our Lombardi trophy candidate senior center. I am sure Brandon and Stud are well aware of this.

I am sure they are aware of this but you have to think the linemen wouldn't be there unless they could get the job done. Sure one may even be a walk-on, but that doesn't mean he can't play football. I hope it benefits our team, don't get me wrong, but I really doubt they'd throw a freshmen and walk-on out on their D-line knowing they suck at football.

I am sure they don't suck. I just meant take advantage of thier inexperiance in a big conference game. You need to know how to control your emotions to be successful in a game like this and they might not understand that yet.
