For anyone that went to MU in 2003...

While I really wish I could have been there tonight...being in MD kinda prevented that...going into tonight I was really flashing back to 03. That was the worst sports experience of my life. The fans were ruthless to us...over and over again...and the game on the field wasn't much better...which made the car ride home aweful. Tonights game would have been great to be at. I think BG has more fans there than Miami does. I couldn't be happier...well maybe if I'da been able to watch the whole game and not just two quarters.
Go Falcons...Bring on the Rockets!

You ain't kiddin' brother! I was on the field for the Miami game two years ago, and I have never been verbally assaulted like that ever before in my life. Like you, Arizona prevented me from being at the game, but my Lord was that amazing to watch/listen to/watch. I can't believe it. We beat Miami. In Oxford. I just can't believe it.
Bring it on, Dildos.

I'm trying to work out some vacation time to get up to BG for the Toledo game but I don't think my boss (a fellow BG grad) is going to bite

If your boss won't let you have a day off to go to BG/UT AND he is BG alum, you need to take his degree back. You have that right.

there's a little more to it than that...but what are details? details aren't important

The details
(1) You ask your boss if you can have the day off to go and watch your shared alma mater go and play their rivals for a title.
(2) If your boss says no, you kick him in the balls - twice. You then give him a five minute lecture on why he should have more loyalty to his alma mater, and then kick him in the balls again.
(3) You then go and remove his degree from the wall on his office.
(4) On your way out of the office, you kick him in the balls again. Because he deserves it.
(5) You then report to his superior that he no longer has college degree and he will lose his job.
(6) If he does not have a superior, tell Jesus. He'll know what to do.

I wholeheartedly support this approach.

I was at the game tonight and it was such a sweet victory, especially after being at that same 2003 game where we were humiliated. The Miami faithful all but packed it in at halftime while our students and fans whopped it up for the duration. It was indeed the sweetest Falcon win I have ever experienced.
It is great day to be a Falcon!
Bring on the Rockets!

I was also at the game and whenever that rain started to come down, I gotta tell ya, that was probably the greatest feeling that I have ever had. Watching our beloved Falcons beating the h*** out of Miami. The delay and everything was worth it.

I was at the 2003 game to and you all are right. The miami fans were ruthless that day and constantly called me horrible names. It was great to watch our falcons finally but a good whooping on miami in their house. Now lets beat toledo and go to FORD FIELD!!!!!!!
