Watching the replay of the Miami game...

I can't help but remember making the loooooooooong drive home from Oxford in 2003, only to make it back to my dorm room in Anderson in time to flip on the replay of that terrible, terrible game. Partially because I rarely get to see BG on national TV, and partially because I hate myself and want to see myself suffer, I forced myself to stay up to watch most of the replay, though I knew how disappointing it would be to do so. It sucked and I got a terrible night's sleep afterwards.
Still, I feel somewhat vindicated as I sit here and watch this replay now. I have the same feelings of senseless anticipation that I have everytime I watch a replay of a BG game, but I know that the end of this game is going to feel much, much better. That is a great feeling, and I am glad that I will not be suffering as I did this time two years ago.
Thank you's are in order for the team and the coaching staff for this. You all went down to Oxford and played one of the best games I have ever seen a BG team play. You have all overcome a great deal of adversity, both on the field and from fans like myself off the field, but you were able to overcome ALL of it, and I could not be more grateful. I hope some of you get the chance to read this.
