Friday's Broadcast Time on the FSRN

We'll be on the air at 6pm on most stations along the radio network. I know with it being "High School Night" that some stations wont be able to carry the game. But if you are fortunate enough to be at a game, take the walkman and listen to us as well. I cant recall if we will be on a "Tape Delay" on any stations

The ESPN2 crew is Dave Pasch, Trevor Matich, and Rob Stone

Also, we will be carried on the university's station since NIU will be unable to accomodate the student team.

GO FALCONS!

I'd accuse them of being low rent losers... but I doubt our press box is all that.

That's too bad for the WBGU crew.

We have a fill-in guy to do OG games when Todd's not available. Obviously this week and next week (we travel with the team to Temple) I think his name is Kevin and hes a BG grad too. He covered week 2 when we were in Oklahoma.

Now that's funny!

Does WHK come out of Cleveland? I am going to be working at a football game in Euclid, so I am optimistic that I will actually hear WHK (or is it WHKW? I need to pay attention. I hope they don't notice the earbuds in my ears

My understanding:

-- WHK was used to be at 1420. When Salem Communications bought it and a couple of other stations in town, it moved the call letters down to 1220. (1420 became WRMR.)
-- WHK is at 1220, and it is based in Cleveland.
-- WKHW is at 1440, based in Warren.
-- Salem owns both WHK and WHKW and does at least some simulcasting between them.

Also, I can't take credit for the "38 streets and half of Canton joke. I heard it several years ago while listening to ... WHK

EDIT: Actually I Googled a couple of times. Salem bought back WRMR. It is now ... news/talk WHK 1420.

Aaron: What the heck is going on? Are our games at risk? Do we tune in to 1220, 1420, 1440, or what?

They must have had a serious transmitter upgrade recently, because I've never been able to hear them clearly in Canton.

TO my knowledge it was WHKW. Not sure. We left Illinois Saturday morning and decided along with Todd and Jason to head to the Bancroft Corectional Institue for the game with Temple. So I just got back to Lima about 11 or so. I got home at 12:30. Next week, the Linc and Cheesesteak's await...
