UT's Nick Moore...

Keep Lance's little brother in your prayers tonight. For those of you who missed it, he was stretchered off the field with a possible neck injury after taking a clean but very hard hit on a slant near the goal line.
Not sure what was Gradkowski's problem today. He never should have thrown that pass to Moore and he made some other very bad decisions with the football.

I'm definately going to agree with Flipper here. Just like Terna Nande's injury earlier this season, this is heartbreaking. I don't care what team a young man is playing for, this is the last thing you ever want to see. My prayers go out for him.

WTOL said on their newscast that he was "OK," for what it's worth.

Here's an update for those that are concerned.
It was mentioned on the other board that he may have a concussion. It sounds like he has feeling in his arms and legs, so I'm hoping that it isn't anything with his neck. I don't care if he ever puts on a Rocket uniform again. I'm just hoping that he's safe. Thanks for your concerns guys.

Thanks for the updates Maureen and TR. Here's to hoping Nick can don the UT garb soon.

Definitely...he's gonna be a helluva player and it's a shame to see a good kid like that experience a terrible injury.
Thoughts and prayers to Nick's family.

Thanks Maureen and TR.....glad to hear that it doesn't look to be as serious as it might have been.

He's in our thoughts. Hopefully he's able to go for a possible UT bowl game.
With that said, Beat Toledo.

With the way his arms and legs went totally limp after that hit I was afraid for the worst. I'm happy to see that he'll more than likely be ok.

I about died when I saw that hit. And I thought the same thing when he went totally limp. I wouldn't be surprised if he had gotten totally knocked out for a bit. Lets just hope he's up and going again soon, poor guy...
Good News

Here's the scoop on Nick Moore.
His mother said that he has a serios concussion and is done for the season. The concussion was so bad that he doesn't remember anything about the game. He saw the hit on ESPN highlights, so he got to see what happened to him and how.....but that is all he knows about the game.
He is at home now resting. He showed up at practice to stand and watch and that inspired the players. They have some inspiration to play for now the rest of the season, whether it be 1 game, 2 games, or 3 games to play.
The good news is that he will make a full recovery and be OK. The bad news is that he has a severe concussion and it will take time to recover.

Best of luck to him. I finally saw the hit on SC yesterday and it made me gasp and feel a little nauseated when he fell limp.
Scary stuff.
