Wow....that said a great deal, '87. I, too, have that DVD and will dig it out tonight and sit my boys AND MYSELF down to watch it again. I need that reminder more than they do.

I honestly don't "hate" UT. They are the arch rival but are still human beings across the line that chose to go to a different school. It's fun to joke and rib each other cuz that's what a rivalry is all about. But to hate someone? I can't do it.

But you better believe I respect what they've accomplished. You can't produce 15 winning seasons in 16 years, 3 Conf titles & 6 division titles and not be doing something correct. Like you, I hate it when they win but not them as people.

I can honestly say I've never looked forward to a BG/UT game like this year. Both teams need to win and the will to win will be awesome. It's everything the rivalry should be. Ohio State/Michigan? That's kids stuff.

Thanks for the perspective, '87. With all the adversity for BG this season, I've realized that life isn't always easy with trials and tribulations. But I am also so very proud of our young men in uniform and the coaches that teach and coach them to be the best they can be...on and off the field.

That said, BEAT UT!

1987, it is a great article. I was with you all the way until you said we couldn't say Amstutz was fat. We have been waiting all year for our chance.........
