CueTip did he get hurt last night?

Post by MACMAN »

Well here is my thought. Early in the second qt CueTip took a nice shot from a NIu defender, and when he landed he caught himself with his right hand. All of his weight and momentum landed on his right hand. Now i am thinking that he may have agravated his old injury from last year, or strained but not sprianed his wrist. his passes did not look nearly as crisp after than fall.
Did any of you notice this as well? Did you all see him working his hand opening and closing it the rest of the game? I know it was real cold lastnight to but that did not seem to be the whole of the problem.

I think he is in rougher shape than they have let on. Among the other things they were dreaming about before the game was the thought of resting him for the BG game. That made sense given they might play us twice. Of course now they have to win just to hope to make the title game.

If the defense comes to play as it did against Miami, I think they will eat Toledo alive. Of course they could come into the game and stink things up. But a lot of things seem to be coming together at the exact right time for the Falcons.

Why do you call him CueTip? Cue ball, maybe, but CueTip? :?:
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I never really thought Bruce was 100% the whole year, and last night showed he's been getting progressively worse as the year has gone on. He was 14-34 last night with 1 TD and 3 INT's...that's not typical Brucie numbers.

I think Toledo right now is ripe for the pickings. I don't care what anyone says...that loss was deflating.

They did not want it to come down to the Bowling Green game to clinch the MAC West.

One of my best friends, god rest his soul, was nicknamed cueball. Brad is not that cool, so he is a soft fuzzy cuetip.
