7 Bowl Appearances?

I started at BG in 1998 and have been a fan since. In that 7 years we have been to atleast 2 bowls but I think 3.

So that means in the other 80 years we went to 4 total bowls? How did you guys deal with it?

I feel a bit spoiled expecting a bowl this year.

The expectations were different. You had to win the MAC to get a bowl game, and since that didn't happen very often, it was a big deal. Other than that, the season was the season. And that's during my time, course. No bowl games at all (or hardly at all) prior to the 70's.

Yeah, there are a lot more bowls now than there were in the past.

Compare BG's 7 Bowls to the other teams in the conference and it stacks up pretty good. I wouldn't have included something "bragging" like that in one of my banners unless it looked good for us.
