I didn't see that posted.

There is a little ceremony planned -- for donors, apparently.

If the ceremony is just for donors, I think it has to be some kind of smoke and mirrors effort by the university to make us think this project is actually going to happen.

</dripping, oozing sarcasm>

This is AWESOME news!!! Patience is a virtue, folks, and it looks like it's about to pay off big time.

Was there a link to a story somewhere, Schad? Or just something you heard?

Ah. I guess I just showed my donor status to the world then, huh? :lol:

That could be a helluva 24-hour period for BG... the first MAC title in 13 years, then the Sebo groundbreaking??

Beat Toledo, then beat the Directional college of the West Division's choosing and make this happen!!!

Which could be the same team we play on Tuesday. . . Southern Michigan.

(we got an Eastern, Western & Central, plus those boys at Bancroft High try to emulate the team from Ann Arbor with their colors and "tradition" of slapping a M Club, err I mean varsity T Club banner when they take the field. . . )

But if we're in the MACC, Toledo can't be, right? I thought that was in Tiebreaker Thread #86 the other day... :lol: I like the "Southern Michigan" idea, though.... the "SMU" initials seem fitting.

Actually, the scenario that gets Toledo in the title game is the same one that gets us the three way tie-breaker over Akron. That is, BG losing to Toledo, Miami beating Ohio, Akron beating Kent, and the key to all of it is WESTERN beating NIU. Toledo and Western would tie for the West at 5-2, but Toledo won heads up. That would cause us to face the Rockets again for the MACC.

Ah... well then... I guess TWO wins over UT and a MAC title would make for an even better time for a groundbreaking.

Of course, let's not get the cart before the Amstutz just yet... :wink:

Can you read? We have to lose to Toledo Tuesday for them to have a chance of making the title game. If we beat them, they are toast.
