Wait 'til next year?!

It seems like just a couple of days ago I was getting fired up for the Wisconsin game. Now it's wait 'til next year. Such high hopes dashed, such potential unfulfilled. It's more than a little sad for us BG fans.

BTW, Akron representing the East in the MACC will be lame.

Of course BG may play again, but right now I can't comprehend it.

See you in Anderson Arena...

I can't see Omar leaving unless some agent really gets to him. Maybe I'm too much homer right now after that loss... So much promise this year...

They flat out don't deserve to be in the MACC game. They had their destiny in their own hands and they blew it. Toledo is like our Michigan and Brandon can't beat them. I say we find someone who can.

You mean like the guy who coached BG and beat Toledo in 2003? Oh wait a minute ...

We aren't even the best team in Northwest Ohio, and haven't been for the past two season. On any available measure, they are the better program, and Amstutz is the better coach.

The only thing I can say about Akron is, they did beat us head-to-head and they got the help they needed. A lot of people dismiss how critical getting help from other teams can be, but look how big it has been even this past week for Akron. With that said, look how big of help a Kent State win would be for BG. I can't see it happening, but this is why you ALWAYS want the help from other teams no matter how well you are playing. Akron slipped past Buffalo and NIU this year, and the last week had gotten about every single break to go their way. That's the way it goes, you play to win and take all the help you can get.
