I see we are stopping at the College Football Hall of Fame this year on our way to Dekalb again. Flashback to 2002: we did the same thing. Last time we did this, our helmet was hanging in the Top-25 row of helmets they display in South Bend, Indiana. Shortly after our game at NIU that year, it was taken down. This year, it is not hanging up there, so hopefully, it will help motivate us to go to Dekalb and do what we should have done two years ago....beat NIU.

Two years ago, I think we went out there "expecting" to win. We didn't. This year, I hope we go out there "knowing" we will win, which I hope we do.

I really need to make it past there at some point. I seem to recall the team went past there before beating Northwestern though, or am I mistaken on that.

I know we stopped before the last NIU game.

Then we will hope for more and better luck than the last time.
