Does the appearance of the Rabbit coinside with BGSU losses or wins or both?

It got to me when people would cheer louder for the rabbit to score a "touchdown" than they would for our defense on third down.

Both games that the rabbit showed up at - the rabbit had more yardage than the Falcons did.

I couldn't believe Brandon had them punt instead of going for it with about 30 seconds left in regulation. No guts - no glory!!!!

I'm ready for basketball season.

Or by some quirky chance you dont make it, and Brucie goes long on us like earlier in the game. What would you have said then? We should have punted it? Biggest game of the year and a MAC Championship on the line, I would have played the odds game too.

Odds game??? Here are your options and then you tell me which is the best odds:

1. Go for it on fourth and six and convert - We have our offense (with all our playmakers on the field) in an opportunity to get us at least a chance to kick a FG to win the game. The odds aren't that great that we score a FG, but at least we put our fate in the hands of our best unit.

2 Go for iton fourth and six, don't convert - They have to go 30 yards in about 25 secs with 1 timeout and then kick a 45 ysrd FG. The odds on that all happening seem pretty long to me.

3. Punt - we have no chance to win in regulation. We are hoping to beat them in OT when our defense hasn't stopped them at all in the second half. Odds are fifty-fifty at best.

You also have to factor a potential punt team disaster into your odds on that decision.

If I'm about equal with my opposition there is no way in hell I play for overtime. It's a gutless, horrible call. Had we went for it, failed, and lost because of it then I would've at least had a little more respect for the coach in making the gutsy decision to win.

Agreed. If the tables were turned, I'd bet my right arm Toledo Tom goes for it, gets it, and rips our hearts out. We had the opportunity to make one play for 6 yards, and totally demoralize our hated rival while ending their season and prolonging ours into a probable bowl berth.

We punted.

If we were in that situation earlier in the year, I think Brandon might have went for it. But ever since Omar got hurt, he played everything extremely conservative. I think that was ok with Turner our there for the most part. But even after Omar was back, it seemed like Brandon was driving the team with his foot on the brake. :?

The Rabbit has popped out at every game this year. I remember seeing him the first time at our home opener when Freida was chasing him around. My kids loved it. I thought he was released there by someone for a prank. I realized he lived there when I saw him again later in the week.
