Instant Classic!

That was truly an instant classic last night. I know the outcome wasn't what you all had hoped for, but it was truly a great game.
My hat's off to your players who never gave up and showed heart throughout the whole game. It is a shame that someone had to lose this game.
Also, I am not a Greg Brandon fan but I was very impressed with him at the post-game press conference. You could tell he wanted to win the game bad and it was a tough loss to swallow. His emotions were all in whack, but he was the complete definition of class. He put the blame for the loss squarely on his own shoulders and he was very complimentative of the Toledo players and coaches. In this rivalry game and such a tough loss it had to be hard for him to do that, but he was complete class.
Charles Sharon and PJ Pope had great games, as well as Omar Jacobs for you guys. Now we wait to see what happens. Hopefully WMU beats NIU and we meet again for the MACC Game in what could be another instant classic!
By the way, your crowd was great and enthusiastic. The tailgating was great as well and there really weren't any issues between the two team's fans. The respect we have for each other really showed last night.
I have nothing but good things to say about you fans and the way your team played last night!
The photographer for my website got several pictures from the sideline last night and some post-game press conference pictures of Brandon and the players (Pope, Sharon, Parks.....can't remember if there was one more player or not). There should be some good BG shots in there and I should have them posted in a couple of days. I will provide you all a link for your viewing enjoyment when it is online.
