How many games do you all believe will be televised next year?
I would guess:
Wisconsin (Cleveland Browns Stadium) - ESPN
Boise St. - ESPN2
@Ohio State - ESPN2
Miami - ESPN2
@Terdledo - ESPN2
Would you all agree with that?

I don't see the Ohio State game being televised. I would agree with you on the others. The MAC office will back down to ESPN and schedule ridiculous weeknight games for Miami and Toledo to get air time. Miami is not a guarantee, though. We will probably struggle a bit next year and Miami may as well. I hear that they have capable backups at QB, but replacing Betts, Nance, Johnson, Hunter, and all 3 LB's is a tall order. A game between 2 .500 MAC teams is not too appealing to alot of viewers.

When was the last time that any OSU game wasn't televised? It might be on ESPN Plus and picked up only in Ohio markets, but BG/OSU will be televised. With the 12 game schedule and a 13 week season, we won't see 3 mid-week games again in '06. That could also limit our television appearances. I wouldn't be surprised if we played one or two Friday nights.
If Omar leaves, I'm not sure why anyone would want to televise us.

Sorry. I was thinking national television. I agree that it will be on ESPN Plus in Ohio.

Ohio St. will usually play on ABC or ESPN/ESPN Plus. They very rarely play on ESPN 2 and I could see this game be broadcast on ESPN because it is in the middle to later part of the season. I think the possiblilty of Omar staying will impact the station that this game will be on.

Don't forget about ESPNU. With some of the games they have shown this year, I would think BG vs. Miami has a chance to air there.

It's way too early to get into this....let's see how the WR's look in the spring game, let's see if Omar stays and let's see how the defense looks.

I truely hate those midweek games. Recipe for poor attendance.

This season when OSU opened with Miami (OH) it was on ABC, I would imagine it'd be the same next year.

You can always get games like BG-OSU on PPV. That's what we did up here in Michigan for the OSU and OU games. When Michigan is playing they override everything and we go to PPV.

Tell me when OSU played during the week................Yeah I can't really remeber. The game is schedule to be played October 7, 2006. The time of the game is not yet determined but will probably be a day game. I dont think ESPNU will air this game for one reason. OSU is too big to play on a network that most people do not get. My best geuss is ESPN.
