The new uniforms, now that you've seen them, how do you like them?

Jerseys are awesome. Helmets are 'meh'

I think our uniforms are an improvement, but they aren't what I would have chosen.

Frankly, I think the new logo would look better on our helmets than what we have there now or had there for the past 20 years. I think it would fit the uniforms better.

I agree...that may be easy to fix. Easier than the white spray painted outline of a falcon they had in the 60's

I'm not crazy about the brown horizontal line across the front of the jerseys.

I am definitely going to have some fun with unfirom/helmet designs with the new logos sometime soon. Be looking for a white helmet soon . . .

As far as the new shirts and pants- I think the white tops look better. Something more crisp about the white with brown and orange accents.


Anywho. . . where are some helmets i took 5 minutes to mess around with . . . Started with our current design. . .

Not that I ever want the new retail logo to take over, but it doesn't work well on the orange helmet. Any chance you can turn the helmet white, or brown?

The only thing I DON'T LIKE is the "all-orange" look....remember seeing that look for 1st time many yrs. ago...(1st nite game ever, vs. Akron). I'd prefer to see the orange jersies w/white pants....but all time favorite is still the Brown jersies / orange pants. 8)

We could add little LEDs in the shoes like kids have. Maybe impact activated sound effects for the fans.

I liked the brown jerseys, but they were too plain. Maybe if they spice them up some, not unlike the new home jerseys. Brown with orange highlights would look good with orange pants.

I agree it doesn't work well on an orange helmet.

Either the orange parts of the logo would have to turn white, or the helmet might need to be white.

White helmets are very old school -- and our uniforms are decidedly not. Not sure it would work.

I agree that with the Orange jerseys white helmet wouldn't work. Only with white road jerseys, and then we would still have to contend with brown or orange home threads.

Oh to be a wealthy program that could afford two sets of helmets.

The new uni's are fine - BRING OUR OLD HELMETS BACK! You can't see the new logo on TV. They look like Syracuse helmets.

Illinois liked our all-orange look so much they copied it

On the "old" helmets, did the falcon head face front on both sides like it does now? Maybe it was just something I had never noticed before, but the falcon "looking" to the left struck me as odd.

And I thought they could have done something more with the "AR" decal on the helmet to make it stand out more, but I guess if it was good enough for them to see on each other's helmets as a solemn reminder, that's good enough for me, too.

SO do I have to vote for the one that says I drink Zima and liek it just cuz in a way I technically go to UT?
