I'm pretty sure the CFL season has ended. You know those crazy Canucks - they even have a funky football schedule just to prove once again that they are NOT Americans (even though they are

). And to avoid abominable snowman attacks that begin to pick up in December, especially in Saskatchewan.

Best of luck, Josh! When does the Arena season start? I would love to make it down to C-bus to see a game while I'm home over Christmas break if the start playing in early January!

Last year that complete and utter idiot Chris Spielman changed QBs more than he changed socks. Sucks for Dorazio though, he had some skill. Sadly that idiot that competes with Jessica Simpson in the mental olympics didn't see it. Good luck Josh, you'll be needing it.

Does that mean he's done in Calgary, or can he play in both leagues (I'd rather have him in the NFL, but still).

I don't remember the details of his signing in Calgary, but I assume that under the circumstances, he was just signed through the end of the year or something (coming on in an emergency-type situation). Since the CFL and AFL seasons don't overlap at all, I'd assume he'd be available to play/practice/tryout for other CFL or NFL teams next season, of course depending on how things work out with Columbus.

I knew the CFL season was over. I was asking the same thing as 1987. Wondering if signing with an AFL team means he is done in the CFL or can he be under contract for both?

Anyone notice the Destroyers cheerleaders are called the 'Bombshells'? That's great.

Edit to add that Lindsey G. and Autumn are both BGSU grads.

Also, Lindsey G is from Defiance and Janelle is from Gibsonburg. Be warned though, if you look at Janelle's bio, she has got some big fish eyes.

Some of those girls are snaggletoofs also. Not the most attractive cheerleading squad...even with the airbrushing.

Yeah I went in there to check 'em all out, and was pretty disappointed as well. Of course I don't generally like most NFL cheerleaders either. Something about college cheerleaders usually looking hot and the pro ones usually just look skanky. Oh well...

"In past years, CFL players were not allowed to play Arena football unless they were released from their CFL contracts. At that point, they became free agents, played Arena ball and returned to the CFL on the open market.

Now, the Arena league doesn't honour CFL contracts, so players don't need to ask for their release. However, players such as Gesser and Harris, who have time left on their CFL contracts, will remain property of that team when they finish playing in the United States."
