First off, apologies if I have missed a thread containing recent references to Falcon football recruiting; sorry if this repeat info. I understand this is a monster weekend with about 20 prospects in town from all over the country. I hear we have guys in from Florida and Georgia as well as Ohio and Mich. Some big guys and a couple of wide outs etc. One visitor listed on recruiting web sites is Diablo Valley College (CA) kicker Jay Binswanger.
So if you are in BG at the hockey game etc, see if our current players have any big bodies in tow.
Of course, all of our recruits from Florida, Georgia and Cali. will likely be kept inside 99% of the time with out 10 degree wind chills! Oh well. See the world; come to BG- that's my motto for this recruting weekend. Next week will be big too as I am sure we fill out our 22 or so scholarships.
One great thing is the ground breaking for Sebo (I see mentioned elsewhere). Move into facility in about March 2007. That should really help recruiting.
