Northern Colorado is looking for a football coach...I found the following info at the Greeley, CO newspaper's website...

" The list of interested candidates also includes Terry Allen, an assistant coach at Iowa State University; Earnest Collins, the cornerbacks coach at the University of Kansas; Brian Cabral, the assistant head coach at the University of Colorado; and Mick McCall, the quarterbacks coach at Bowling Green University and former head coach at Mullen High School."

that is the big problem all mid's have. no cash for coach retention, even with the addition of a "toronto bowl" we still as a confernece would earn only about 1/100th what a mjor does from one bowl let alone 3-5.
he is good and if he has the talent to be guy i hope he gets it.

One of the "needs" Gregg Brandon typically mentions is more $$ for assitants.

Arena league is done by the fall, though. I certainly don't have any idea if that sort of career path is something J5 would like to pursue, but I think he would have the potential to be a good coach given all that he showed on the field for the Falcons. I would still like to see him get some PT in the Arena league or Europe and get another shot at the NFL first.

Somebody like J5 would be the perfect head coach for BG in about 15 years. I think that's what many were hoping Stud might become for us. I would love to see an alum with a true love, understanding, and passion for BG athletics become the head coach for a long time. Think our answer to Amstutz, only not as heart-attacky.
