Can't stop the run, can't stop the pass this was a debacle!

Post by Falcon52 »

Our defense looked like swiss cheese. I thought if we can't pass rush, which we clearly have no ability to put pressure on the QB, then at the very least we should be able to stop the run. We can't do either. I think we are in for a long season. I am so frustrated as I am sure everyuone else is. No spin, the defense has a long way to go.

Offensively I think we could have a bright future. Why do I feel that Omar is under used. We ran Josh all over the place last year. We started to run Omar in the 3rd when it was almost too late. Why are we not using him more?

Man this was embarassing.

I haven't checked the box score yet, but I'll bet NIU converted a far greater % of 3rd downs than we did. Their defense stepped up and made some plays to stop our drives. Apart fom the goal line stand, our defense didn't.

We can't stop anybody when we need to. We couldn't stop the sooners on any third down and we couldn't stop the Huskies tonight either. Round one, Meyer was outcoached, Round two, Novak was outcoached, Round three Brandon was outcoached, but not only that I thought we looked stupid out there.
