How are you going to beat
all the remaining teams on your schedule? Is the MAC really that weak? Somebody's gonna run on you again if things don't change real quick.
We've been run on a lot in our last several game dating back to Northwestern in the bowl game, OU earlier (which I just dismissed because the Sooners are so good), but tonight, we got our teeth kicked in. I don't know who will run on us like that again, but sitting here 0-1 in the MAC right now, I guess we'll find out. I'd like to think no one will like that again, but then again, I didn't expect NIU to tear us apart like that either.
GO BG!!!
Anyone who predominate;y runs is going move the ball on the ground no problem. This was a problem last year too. We got away with it for the most part though. OSU, EMU, and Northwestern ran all over us. Yes we beat EMU by a couple of scores. but not for a couple shoestring tackles that could have been 60 yard runs. I was at that game, and our run D was terrible, and that was against the eagles
I'll put my money on EMU & UT for starters. Both have run games we will not be able to handle.BGSU33 wrote: I don't know who will run on us like that again, but sitting here 0-1 in the MAC right now, I guess we'll find out.
Despite the optimism after the OU game this team is really starting to resemble the team I THOUGHT we'd see this season. I was really hoping I was going to be wrong after how tough we played OU, but tonight's game makes me wonder.

Eastern Michigan ran on us last year, too.BGSU33 wrote:We've been run on a lot in our last several game dating back to Northwestern in the bowl game, OU earlier (which I just dismissed because the Sooners are so good), but tonight, we got our teeth kicked in.
