MAC Recruiting

I've compiled a list of each of the MAC teams' recruiting classes up to this point. I would say that Miami has the clear #1 class so far and regardless of its small size, BG may have the #2 class at this point. I think that Mahone and Brandon were big pickups for you guys this past week. I also think that you may have jumped the gun on offering a scholarship to Sheehan, but we'll see about that in a few years.

Please use this thread to offer any help on discrepancies, thoughts, or added stats for each of your recruits. If you have an account at mattsledge, you can add any help there too as I'll find it either way.

Add Ohioans RB Vince Corner and WR Tyrone Pronty to BG's list of verbals along with FL LB Eugene Fells.

Oh, BTW...TR if I tried to use a sig line like yours on the UT section of MACBBS, I'd have my posts deleted and I'd likely be banned.

Ohio also got Ernie Hodge, from Pulaski Co (prepped at Hargrave with Hubbard). He's also a DE/Lb

Flipper, I got it. My opinion was that they are pretty lenient over there unless it comes to attacks on players, but it is something that we couldn't argue. Regardless, I removed it. I love having fun with you guys, but I don't want to ruin Grant's great board. Either way, I'll keep all that stuff on the free-for-all forum.

Anyway, thanks for all the info and I'll try to keep your page updated over there.

I'm (mostl;y) yanking your chain. I had a post deleted over there that included the phrase "Amstutz is fat". Now, I know you can dlete posts for a number of reasons, but I was simply stating an accepted, medically undeniable fact.

So far as banning goes, I banned that forum from the boundless joy that interacting with me brings....it's their loss...

Nice job on the list though....it looks like another "up " recruiting year in the making for the MAC overall.

Yeah, I'm surprised that your post was deleted, considering the fact that we all know how much you joke around and the fact that you didn't say anything that isn't said over there nearly every day. Either way, that isn't normal for that board.

I have updated the BG and OU pages with information on the recruits that I was able to find. I would say that the "stars" of the BG class so far look to be Fells, Brandon, and Mahone which is much better than most of the other schools (at least IMO).

Well that's why......the correct medical term is obese, not fat. 8)
