Recruiting watchers, do you know this kid?

Post by 1987alum »

Bobcatattack is showing a commit from a Marcellis Williamson from Warrensville Heights.

He's listed as a 6-1,324 DT, instantly making him falconboy's most coveted recruit of the year! Scout is not listing the kid at all. Anyone know if we missed out on the BFP we've been hoping for?

Interesting to note that, despite the Snobkitties' offensive woes, most of Solich's recruits are on the defensive side of the ball so far, including this mass of humanity.

Yeah, but I think OU has a lot of young guys who will blossom on the offensive side of the ball. They'll have Illinois transfer Brad Bower (who was pretty highly recruited) likely as their starting QB, McRae is already a stud at RB, they'll return most of the their offensive line, and they have some prospects at WR, though, I think that is their weakness on that side of the ball. On defense, they'll lose Dion Byrum, but will return nearly ever other starter. They're one of those teams that went with youth the last two years and it will play off in the next year or two. They also get both BG and Akron at home next year which will help. And if worse comes to worse, they have a coach that knows how to party to help wash away a bad season. :)
GO BG!!!
