Coming into this season, with returning starters all over the field for us, I think most of us (including myself) were most concerned about Omar Jacobs. Well, three games into the season, I know I am convinced Omar is the furthest thing from our biggest worries. Omar has been great, even against NIU. He is playing better than I could have wished or expected him to. He's been great for us. Having Josh Harris wouldn't have made one bit of difference against NIU, or OU for that matter. We've hardly missed a beat with Omar out there in my opinion.
Last night, all of our weaknesses were exposed and exploited. We've got a lot of work to do, and I don't think for a second it has much to do with our young QB. The defense, that's a different story.
