Is this our next kicker? He is listed by Scout as interested in us. The following link seems to think he is pretty good and says that he has 3 years of eligibility remaining!

I don't like seeing the #9 kicker on that list committed to Miami.

Well, we'd better lock him up quick then before Penn State or Florida State get him....watching the kicking in that game last night was like watching Timchenko and Fry battle it out.

Uncalled for. Nate was put in a tough spot and did what he could. Joe improved over the season and proved that during the turdledo game. Sure they might have not lived up to your standards, but that's no reason to sound like Bill Parcells here and want a new kicker every week.

Wasn't Nate a punter?

Uncalled for? Maybe. But being that BG is a D-I football program, I don't think it's too far-fetched to ask a "scholarship" kicker to make extra points, most short to midrange field goals or execute kickoffs. And it’s not like they didn’t measure up to my meaningless standards, they didn’t measure up to the team’s nor probably their own. Watching us attempt any kind of a kick meant holding your breath and waiting to see what happened next. Our kicking game was poor no matter how you cut it, and the proof was in our stats or in anyone’s eyes that saw it this year. Did we improve? Yeah, but it was still poor and I think Bill Parcells would even agree with that.

Did you, by chance, see the highlights from the Sun Bowl, let alone last night's game? We had kicking woes, but we were far from the only school to have them.

Yeah, I did see the NW/UCLA game and what happeded to NW, and I'm not saying we were the only ones with problems. But frankly, I don't care how bad everyone elses were, I just hope and want BG's to get better. I'm not pointing out that we were the worst, only that we need to get a lot better and that "our" kicking was poor this season. This was also noted more this year because we have had some outstanding kickers in recent years.

It think more importantly, quit calling the players out by name. Their time is done at BG. Why do you need to keep ragging on them? Let it go that the kicking was troublesome at times. I understand during the season that it upset us fans, but let these kids move on with their lives with out being the butt of yours and others jokes. Show them a little respect for being a part of the team.

Okay, numbers 13 and 46 didn't kick very well.....is everyone happy now? Our kicking was poor and me making a joking comment about it above isn't the end of the world.

Yeah, it's not like I mentioned someone who threw 6 INT's in one game or anything.......

Is this 'kicking' site legit? They missed out on the best kicker in the state of Ohio, who received a scholarship from Michigan and accepted.
