BG player that had the stroke - news??
I was thinking about this yesterday when I heard a commercial about getting help during a stroke. A couple years ago, you guys had a player who had a stroke, I believe that he may have been a tight end out of Illinois. He had a stroke and was working through it. Can any of you give me information on his health? I doubt he'll ever see the football field again, but is he well enough to return to school and what impact is this having on his life? I hope he has been able to get better and can live a mostly normal life from here on out. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

He did return to school; I believe his name was Navarro or something like that...
He isn't able to play football anymore but I know the season after it happened he was working with the coaching staff on the sidelines, so he could at least be involved withthe team. Not sure if he has graduated or not...
