Thanks Grant

Post by always a falcon »

I am putting this in the football forum as that is where the action is. I want to thank Grant once again for this site.

What would we have done with Omar's announcement and no where to go to talk about it? We don't have all the phone numbers? We would have gone nuts. Flipper might have gotten out his axe.

So take a minute to hit the paypal and thank him for running this site and letting these rabid people have somewhere to vent.

We now return to our regularly scheduled rants.

Yeah, I'm going to have to have a fund-raising blitz here pretty soon... the PayPal button on that main page hasn't seen action in months. :-(

Thanks for the kind words though! As much of a pain as this site can be, I still love it and 95% of the people on it. ;-)

I can donate once I get a real job, but for now student teaching is requiring all the gas money I can spare. Boo.

Certainly not begging for $$, but I've gotten a few really wonderful and supportive donations thus far. I just want to make sure everyone knows that they can click on the helmet up above and then look for the PayPal logo on the main page to make a donation. Click that button, walk through the steps and you're as good as done!

Also, checks are fine (and some people prefer to do that... makes me no difference). If you'd like to send a check, or your favorite recipe for pineapple upside-down cake, the address is:

Grant Cummings
P.O. Box 73
Elmore, OH 43416-0073

(and no, it's not some shifty scam run out of a P.O. Box... I just don't have mail delivery to my house. It's Elmore, remember?? ;-) )

Thought I'd bump this topic back up to the top.

Thanks again to everyone who has helped out thus far!!

Grant, I'm on the board every day and enjoy it so I'd like to donate. What is a typical donation?

It's whatever you feel comfortable giving. I'm not going to say what's typical and what's not, because, in all honesty, there IS no typical among the donations I've gotten over the past few years. They've run from a couple dollars, to gifts off my Amazon wish list, to BG goodies, to more substantial amounts of $$. I won't be offended by anything, and I don't expect anything.

I'm just happy people are able to kick in and show their appreciation and support!

BTW, my Amazon wish list is here. ;-) http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/3KO4J0RD7U424
