As the day comes closer to when we find out who is going to be the new falcons there has been something interesting on my mind and i want to share it with you all. We still have not gotten soild conformation that the WR from Maple Heights is going to sign with us. He is not listed on the rivals site at all and the only place i can find him on the scout.com site is on the Toledo listing of people who are interested in them or have commited. So this got me thinking and i did some research. If this kid was as good as people think he is would he not have made the top 100 in the state of ohio according to Ohio Magazine. I have looked through at lease too of the ones i have sence i am a member of it and his name does not appear in any one of them. So my question to you all is. Do you think he is still a player we were looking at and still have a offer on him or do you think we have droped him and gave it to another WR from somewhere else. Also would you not think more schools would be going after this kid as well. From the one article that scout had about him it said that this summer he and 2 other kids from the HS were going to camp down at North Carolina cause a former teammate of there's was a FR there this past year. I just find it interesting that no one is talking about him it's like he does not even exist anymore.

I raised a similar question a few weeks ago re: Tyrone Pronty, the kid you're talking about here....he's NEVER been listed to my knowledge as a verbal though the PD had a small article on him when he DID allegedly verbal to us earlier in the season....as to top 100 in state, he didn't make any of the all-county or all district teams, which didn't bode well IMO....but, then again, a kid from Alaska who nobody ever heard of, did OK for us. It'll be interesting to see if he actually IS one we sign or not.... and, if I remember correctly, he was the #2 receiver for Maple Hts. anyway.
